Light Brown Summer Hair for Asians

It's that time of the year again. Summer is here and I dont know about you guys, but since Im asian and my hair is uber black, I feel like the sun just continually beams down on me. So Im going to dye my hair light brown. The best way to do this is to use ashy color dyes to minimize the red undertones. Though I find that even these ashy colors do not really minimize the red undertones that much when the sun is shining on my head. So a tip for all you asains with thick hard to dye asian hair, is to go gradually. I have done this everysingle summer and it works like a charm. The first week, I dye my hair only one color lighter than my natural hair. Than I wait two weeks, before dying it again, using a lighter color. This minimizes red undertones since you arent taking your hair from really dark to really light all at once. This is only if you want to achieve that light brown color. If not, you can just stop after the first time. Now, my favorite drugstore hairdye to use, all time ever is garnier nutrissee. It gives great color, lasts long, and the conditioning cream is made of nourishing ingredients such as avocado and grape seed. The first week I used the medium ash brown color, and than the second week, I use the light ash brown color. It works great. Hope you guys try it and let me know what your thoughts are :)
